Bentong Trip & Happy Farm... CNY 2015...
Bentong is just a short drive away from Klang Valley. The family took a short vacation there during CNY 2015.
DAY 1
We stayed at Happy Farm which has chalets on its farm. Really nice environment.

After check-in, we went to Chamang Falls for a cool and refreshing dip in the water.

Then it's back to Happy Farm for some food for dinner... They do provide lunch and dinner in the stay package if you want it or you can choose to savor the excellent food in Bentong.
DAY 2
As the saying goes, the early bird gets the worm. Although we do not intend to eat any worms, we did get up early for some hill trekking just behind the chalets in Happy Farm. Really refreshing air up the hills.
On our way down from the hills we visited the farm and had a look at the vegetation, fishes, dogs and goats. We also visited a chilli farm and prawn farm nearby.

Next up is a ride around Bentong town for some good old ice-cream. We also visited a temple.
Next up is Bentong Hot Springs. It's quite deep but you can dip your feet into the water by sitting at the side if you want.
Before heading back to Happy Farm we went for another dip at the Chamang Waterfall.

Then it's back to Happy Farm for dinner and a good night's sleep.
DAY 3
Rise and shine and we are trekking up the hills again but there is something different this time. Heavy mist has enveloped the farm and it's a nice treat before we end our trip.
Later, back at the farm, we tried our hands at farming under the watchful eyes of Uncle Timothy. The children loved it so much (and I think the adults got a nice work out as well)...
Then it was time to leave but not before another round of Bentong ice-cream and some fried toufu shopping. The fried toufu factory workers also doubles up as a Lion Dance troupe during CNY.
Overall it was a very enjoyable trip for adults and children. We did not get to visit the stalls at Bentong market and also the other eateries in town since it's CNY and most of them are closed. Perhaps that's something we can remedy in our next trip there !!
BON VOYAGE and till we meet again !!
